Guided Sea Kayak Tours
East Coast Outfitters has specialized in offering guided sea kayaking tours since 2001. No experience is necessary, as every trip begins with a brief yet thorough safety and skills overview. We have plenty of single and double kayaks to choose from, and we will work with you to make sure you are comfortable. All of our guides have been through our intensive 8-month training program and will happily show you everything you need to know. We have developed a full range of guided tours to meet your needs: half-day, full-day, and sunset tours offered every day; customized private tours from our base and multi-day trips on the beautiful South Shore, group tours, and shore excursions. We have something for everyone whether you live in Nova Scotia and are looking for a fun activity for your stay-cation or if you are visiting Halifax.
Booking and Cancelation Poliy
Reservations and Cancellation Policy (Please take the time to read carefully.)

To reserve space on a tour, we need at least 24 hours notice or more. If you are booking a tour within 48 hours of the date, please call us.

To confirm/reserve your spot(s) on a tour we require you to provide us with a credit card number, expiry date and CVV. No payment is needed ahead of time and full payment for the excursion can be made on the day of the tour. At ECO we have a strict policy of having one guide for every six people on the water. Our day tours will have no more than six people on a tour with the exception of our Daily Specials and group tours. Organization for our tours is vital, so there can be no rescheduling or refunds within 48 hrs unless a suitable replacement is found.

Cancelation: if a tour is canceled by the client within 48 hours of the tour date you will be charged the full amount of the tour. Cancelations must be made via email followed by a phone call to confirm. If a replacement for your reservation is found, or for cancellations of 48hrs or more in advance a $25 administration fee will be issued and no additional charges will be added.

We reserve the right to cancel or alter any tours or rentals due to weather or insufficient registration. If ECO cancels the trip due to weather-related reasons (High winds or lightning), there will not be a cancelation fee and we will try and reschedule the tour.
