Paddle Around: A Series of Trips around Terence Bay, Lower Prospect and Prospect

This is the season of exploration. With travel restrictions in place,we have so many opportunities to discover Nova Scotia. Paddle Around will let you see and explore more of this beautiful province by kayak.

We are hosting a guided paddle where will be paddling around either Betty Island, Mosher Island, Prospect Village or Terence/Pennant Bay. Four spectacular areas to paddle on the Chebucto Peninsula. Where we paddle around will be determined by sea state and weather conditions for that day. We will inform everyone a few days before the date if conditions warrant a change in route plan or not.

What you need to know:

We will be paddling in more exposed areas so we ask that you are confident in your paddling ability so as to successfully participate in these paddles. We recommend that you have skills equivalent to Paddle Canada Level 1 or higher. There will be skilled and caring guides with you the entire time. Please dress appropriately for a day on the water.

This is a great opportunity to enhance your paddling skills in moving water and active conditions while being accompanied by a competent instructor and guide from ECO. It is a chance to meet and paddle with others and to meet new paddling buddies!
