2015 Paddle Courses, Events and programs at East Coast Outfitters

Welcome to the 2015 Sea Kayaking season at ECO! We are excited to get the season started after a long and hard winter. Our guides and guides in training have been working hard all winter learning about wind, weather, waves and tides – navigation – all important factors when keeping people safe on the water. Right now we are at Centennial pool working on all our rescues before venturing onto the ocean. Being safe and having fun is our top priority and we take pride in ensuring everyone’s trip is as enjoyable as the next.

For season opening, we may be pushing the May 1 date back a week or so as conditions are still too cold and not safe for an enjoyable trip. Keep posted on our website, eastcoastoutfitters.com and social media to stay updated. But we will let you know when we officially open.

Along with our day and group tours, here are a few other courses, events and programs that will be on-going at ECO during the 2015 season. If you need to plan your paddling season, this is all you will need!

  1. Paddle Canada Courses
  2. Evening special paddles
  3. Dock n’ Dine
  4. Full moon paddles
  5. National Paddling Week
  6. Secology by Kayak

Paddle Canada Courses

This year we are offering Sea Kayak basic, level 1 and level 2 skills courses as well as Flatwater and advance SUP courses. Please visit our calendar for all dates and important information you will need to register:  eastcoastoutfitters.com/calendar

All of our instructors are Paddle Canada certified instructors that have gone through our Guide Training Program. They have invested many rigorous hours honing their skills on the water by interacting with as many paddlers as possible either though guiding tours or running our Monday evening skills clinics and shadowing as many instructors and courses as possible. Under the tutelage of Paddle Canada Instructor Trainer, Dave Adler, our instructors are learning from the best so that your paddling instruction begins on a positive and enthusiastic note.   eastcoastoutfitters.com/lessons

  1. My daughter and I would love to go for paddle Sunday fathers day. She is 10 but very fit, a two person boat would be ideal though. Looking for ideas, love the paddle and dine idea but you would know better about her abilities. Thanks!
